Day 2: Letham Tangerines play their first game against Spanish Opposition, than have free time to explore the city where they will also experience a traditional Spanish Restaurant!


After an early breakfast the boys depart for their first game of the tour. The pitch is right next to the beach and is the home of CF Barceloneta, a Spanish fourth division Club.

A great match to watch, the Tangerines are showing well against a technical Spanish side. 



Tam looks on as the ball is played into the box for another Letham attack!


Tom gives the boys instructions at half time after a promising first half performance.



The final whistle goes and Letham Tangerines run out as victors. A solid performance from the team for their first win in the city.


Tom debriefs the team after the game, praising them for how well they did. The sun starts to peek out as the group head for lunch and spend the day at the beach and around this beautiful city.



The boys and coaches enjoy the sun on the beach. The lads find some energy after the morning game to play beach football!


After time at the beach they group made the short journey to a traditional Spanish Tapas Restaurant. The group got to experience a real typical Spanish part of the city!


A Catalan parade was happening right outside the restaurant!



The group had some free time to explore this fantastic city.

After a long day in the city, the group make the short walk to Maramagnum, a shopping complex that sits on the sea front. The ate at FrescCO a great restaurant that offers all different types of fresh, healthy foods.




On the way home, the group walked up the famous Las Ramblas street in the heart of the city. It is world renowned for street performers and Spanish stalls.
